We are pleased to inform you that Fluid Controls Double Ferrule Compression Tube Fittings are now certified as per ASTM F1387-99 (2005). We have received this certification for tube fitting sizes upto ½” OD and all our testing has been witnessed and certified by TUV India.
Fluid Controls Private Limited is one of a select group of international companies who offer ASTM F1387-99 (2005) certification.
The ASTM F1387-99 (2005) is a rigorous and mandatory type testing which establishes the performance characteristics required for mechanically attached fittings for use in piping and tubing systems. Successful completion of the tests described constitutes completion of the technical portion of the qualification. These tests are : Examination of the specimen, Pneumatic Proof Pressure Test, Hydrostatic Pressure Test, Impulse Test, Flexure Fatigue Test, Tensile Test, Hydrostatic Burst Test, Repeated Assembly Test, and the Rotary Flexure Test.
This certification is a pre-requisite for ONGC registration and ensures that the fittings we manufacture achieve the highest performance parameters, including
• creation of joints to withstand burst pressures up to 4 times the maximum allowable working pressure of the tube
• repeated assembly / disassembly
• high resistance to vibration and fatigue in both flexure and rotary |
